I spent just about the last two years working as an engineer for Unity 3D game projects for iOS and Android, with iOS as the lead platform. My role was a studio wide role, working on “performance and pipeline,” for many teams at once. My time was spent improving the framerate, runtime memory, writing shaders, build size, and building tools to help our content creators build more content faster, and writing documentation for our internal wiki.
I plan to start typing up information on Unity development here, under blog posts tagged “Unity3D Performance” for anyone interested in Unity development for iOS.
